Bringing Animation to Skills Canada

This week, Conestoga College Animation joined Skills Canada to demonstrate 2D animation and character design, connect with students, and share the creative process behind bringing characters to life.

This week, we had a great time representing Conestoga College at the Skills Canada event.

Our booth was busy with students stopping by to explore 2D animation, character design, and the process of bringing drawings to life. We demonstrated traditional animation techniques, talked about posing and expression, and shared how character performance starts with strong drawing and clear storytelling.

It was great to see so many students asking questions, trying things out, and getting excited about animation. Events like this are a fun reminder of how powerful hands-on learning can be.
